A couple weeks ago I bought TiVo for my basement. Typically I've been buying TV series on DVD in order to watch while I exercise in the morning. TiVo is a nifty little Digital Video Recorder that I can set to record from the internet as well as locally. It also will pay attention to my viewing patterns and record stuff automatically (i.e., if I record all the CSIs, it'll also pick up other crime dramas) so there will always be something to watch when I go downstairs in the morning to exercise.
Last week I finally upgraded my home computer and bought a Mac Mini. I also decided to maintain our old PC so I picked up a switch that will let me use the same Keyboard, Mouse and Monitor between both the Mac and the PC. Right now I'm uninstalling stuff from the PC as I blog on the Mac.
Somewhere along the line I remembered I has a PS3 hooked up to my TV in the living room (for the Blu-Ray, not the gaming), as well as a HD PVR.
I think I may have enough technology.
I think I may sell the PS3. I bought it for the Blu-Ray, and I've watched one Blu-Ray movie on it (in 7 months).
But I really like the Mac.

I have more than enough technology these days. This week has been spent learning new software, new phones, new alarms, and (somewhat) new sound system.
Can't believe you bought a Mac!!
How much are you willing to part with the PS3 for Dwane? I am always interested in a good home entertainment system :)
D. It's the 40 gig PS3, with one controller and an extra remote that I bought with it, as well as Spiderman 3 on Blu-Ray. I've thrown the number $350 around to a couple people.
Patti, yep, a Mac, and am loving it. Taking my "artsy-ness" to w whole new level!
That is a very fair price. I'll get back to you if the wife approves :S
